Your tasks
The Digital Marketplace Development group is looking for a Marketing Associate to join their Content Marketing team. This person will report directly to the Senior Director of Content Marketing.

The role will focus largely on social media at both the content creation level and the analytical level. Goals in social media are follower/reach growth, increased engagement, and innovation. Focus will also be on forming solid relationships with like-minded social media reps in-house and out of house, and leading the group in any new social media initiative. The role will celebrate the ?Social? piece of Social Media, as much as it does the ?Media? piece, and so should appeal to those who enjoy learning and sharing knowledge and being the point person in the building, in addition to the traditional goings-on in the digital social sphere.

The Marketing Associate will manage and help grow our community development efforts in the Digital Marketplace Development team, including our first UGC-powered community, the Suvudu Universe.

The Marketing Associate will be the social media training lead for the Corporate Team, developing and rolling out cross-divisional social media training, which will require frequent and confident public speaking, and will also manage/maintain distros related to social media. The Associate will also make recommendations regarding social media best practices and new products.

This position will also be responsible for occasional writing for one or more of our category verticals, social vendor management and basic administrative functions.

Our requirements
Ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree and 3 years managing large-scale social media accounts (including but not limited to Facebook and Twitter) experience required.

Other qualifitcations will include:
?Knowledge of Radian 6, Topsy, Piquora and other social analytics/listening tools
?Fluent in Hootsuite or other social media management tool
?Wordpress or other CMS experience
?Familiarity with Google Analytics and/or Adobe SiteCatalyst
?Passion for books and book people
?Excellent communicator
?Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
?Creative thinker
?Very organized
?Great writing/proofreading skills
