The Media Relations Specialist will work closely with executive management, sales, client services and production to increase brand exposure and support company initiatives by:

•Strategic planning and distribution of media content and releases
•Identifying daily press opportunities
•Pitching national business press and targeted trade journals
•Responding to high-volume inbound media inquiries
•Planning and executing quarterly sales campaigns
•Providing media training and development for IBISWorld analysts
•Creating a monthly client newsletter
•Maintaining the company’s Media Center
•Creating and releasing marketing email blasts
•Monitoring and analyzing monthly media activity
•Overseeing the company’s social media platforms

•Two to five years of experience in media relations
•Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism or marketing
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Proficient in AP-Style writing
•Reliable and organized
•Ability to work autonomously
•Quick learner
•Enjoys working with others
