Manager, Digital Distribution (FOX Networks Group – Los Angeles, CA)

The FOX Networks Distribution department is seeking a Manager of Digital Distribution, who will work closely with the Vice President of Digital Distribution, across Fox’s broad portfolio of industry-leading sports and entertainment networks, on the development and execution of the digital distribution strategy and associated partnerships, roadmaps, advanced advertising initiatives, related product management and deal implementation.


• Manage the identification, formulation and communication of digital distribution strategy, including:
o Overseeing capabilities assessments and competitive analysis
o Modeling out adoption and usage forecasting and cost/revenue projections
o Developing executive summaries and recommendations
• Contribute to the execution of digital distribution strategy and associated roadmaps, including:
o Negotiating a variety of digital distribution agreements covering a wide spectrum of companies, platforms and business models (e.g., TV Everywhere, EST, OTT)
o Deepening and expanding key partnerships through proactive account management
o Acting as the point person within the Distribution team for participation in industry working groups
• Manage and contribute to the execution of various advanced advertising initiatives in conjunction with FNG network teams and FNG Ad Sales teams by:
o Negotiating advanced advertising related agreements
o Leading demos and presentations of advanced advertising opportunities to a wide spectrum of FNG stakeholders
o Modeling out costs and revenue upside
o Overseeing compliance with contractual commitments and technology roadmaps
• Oversee a variety of digital distribution related product and operational functions, including FNG-wide roadmaps and timelines for TV Everywhere products and associated MVPD participation; mutual contractual obligations to TV Everywhere device/platform partners, advanced advertising partners, EST providers and OTT distributors; EST wholesale pricing, reporting and analysis; and FNG Distribution’s digital media lab, and associated presentations to a variety of external and internal stakeholders.

• College degree required, with a major in Economics, Finance or Business preferred
• At least 5 years’ experience in digital media/affiliate distribution, , business development or related media/entertainment discipline required
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills required, including the ability to successfully communicate and negotiate with internal and external decision makers, along with a firm understanding of contracts and legal language
• Analytical and strategic acumen required, with the ability to identify and secure buy-in to creative approaches, navigating complex issues that straddle business, legal, product, and technology considerations
• Must have a detailed understanding of the complex and constantly evolving digital/traditional media landscape, including the product and device side of it, and an associated network of contacts across the industry
• Must be highly proficient in Excel, Power Point and other common software tools.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required
