ABRAMS seeks a creative, highly motivated and organized individual to execute the marketing of books and ancillary product for the Wimpy Kid brand. Individual will be responsible for overseeing the creation of all promotional materials and sell-in tools; working with outside vendors and contractors to create seasonal promotional materials; working closely with Sales to coordinate the distribution of all promotional materials to retail accounts; securing placement, coordinating delivery of creative materials and maintaining performance reports for all advertising campaigns; updating the Wimpy Kid website and managing social media outreach (along with the Digital Marketing team); managing the brand’s newsletter; overseeing the approval process for foreign editions; and supporting the Brand Director in the execution of larger brand initiatives and preparation of brand performance reviews.

Qualifications include a BA; 1 - 3 years of marketing experience, preferably working with book series or licensed properties; excellent written and oral communication skills. We are seeking an individual who is detail-oriented and an innovative multitasker with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Computer proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential. TMM, InDesign and Photoshop a plus.
