Kaplow’s award-winning Kdrive division is looking for a Director of Digital Strategy who will be responsible for spearheading groundbreaking campaigns that feature the perfect combination of creativity and solid strategic thinking. Reporting into the Vice President of Integrated Strategy, the perfect candidate will live and breathe digital media, with an unparalleled curiosity surrounding industry advancements and best practices. Core responsibilities include:

Strategic Planning
•Provide campaign recommendations that meet client expectations/goals and drive brand awareness for target audiences.
•Identify and share new digital opportunities for brands to stand out amid their competitors.
•Drive digital plans that increase fan bases, conversation and relevant KPIs.
•Present plans (including PowerPoint documents, recommendations and proposals) to clients with conviction.

Content Strategy/Development
•Guide content development on multiple platforms, including but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, etc. by ensuring strategic goals are met.
•Keep track of content performance via analytics, and offer suggestions for optimization.
•Work with Content Producers to brainstorm and make editorial decisions.
•Explore new platforms and inform internal and external teams of fresh communication channels.

Client Service
•Partner with the Vice President and other account leads to establish stellar relationships with clients, and become a day-to-day, trusted contact providing the highest quality of service.
•Provide counsel and forward-thinking on industry trends that will impact client business in the short and long-term.

Thought Leadership
•Showcase your curiosity both internally and externally by providing POVs on industry news.
•Stay up-to-date on competitive intelligence, reporting back on impact to the agency’s client roster.

•Ensure client budgets are managed effectively, managing both staff allocations and time spent by employees on account work.
•Flag concerns to Vice President in a timely fashion, making sure the team and agency remain profitable.
•Track costs incurred and keep senior management abreast of any potential issues.

•Provide guidance for team members with a focus on promoting growth opportunities.
•Help to maintain a fun, collaborative environment where creativity and curiosity is respected and rewarded.

Job Requirements:

•Eight years of public relations experience (supervisory experience and agency background required)
•Bachelor’s degree
•Demonstrated experience conceptualizing and executing successful social media digital campaigns
•Advanced presentation skills and an ability to run high-level meetings
•Experience in developing holistic communication programs
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Excellent account management/client service skills
•Experience managing and maintaining programmatic budgets
•Ability to manage, mentor, coach, inspire and develop direct reports
