This position will provide display sales and marketing support within the digital Ad Sales Team. The right candidate will collaborate with and work alongside marketing and sales, product owners, and ad operations to define product components, experience and marketing messages to potential advertising partners.

Essential Functions (principle tasks, duties, and responsibilities of the job)

•Support Consumer Sales team by bringing big ideas to life through ideation and creation of high quality designs for sales presentations
•Report to VP of Yield & Revenue Optimization
•Design sell sheets, media kits, newsletters, and other marketing materials for all external client communications
•Liaise with Product, Design, and Sales to create advertising mocks for all pre-sales initiatives
•Consistently expand knowledge of industry trends across product, digital advertising, and design
•Design and develop banners, interactive marketing, websites, mobile and tablet experiences
•Maintain communication with corporate design team to ensure style guide and TechMedia Network brand standards are upheld

Minimum Qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities):

•Must have a passion for all things digital & innovation
•An outstanding portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual and executional ability across multiple media and platforms
•Must be detail-oriented with an eagle eye for design details, such as typography, alignment, hierarchy etc.
•Exceptional creativity, enthusiasm, sense of humor, team spirit, commitment, and professionalism
•Superb communication skills, organized, able to thrive in a deadline driven environment, while managing multiple projects at once
•A whiz in the entire Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Fireworks
•Strong skills in Flash, Actionscript, HTML 5, CSS3. Javascript, Video/Audio editing and 3-D software is a plus
•Be able to develop HTML Email templates which can be mobile optimized
•Experience with Social Media site integration
•Understanding of front-end digital design (motion design and animation a plus), as well as back-end technologies and their respective impact on design
•Strong knowledge of trends and technologies in web development, as they relate to design and creating brand-appropriate experiences
•Strong knowledge of UX design processes and methodology, particularly as applied to cross-device experiences and responsive design
•Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art, Graphic & Interactive Design
