This includes ad serving, campaign management and optimization, market forecasting, sales team performance tracking; product line ROI calculations; process/workflow and client services. The Director of Advertising Strategy and Operations will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer. Responsibilities Include:•Oversee the growth, training and development of the two team members within the Advertising Operations department•Ability to forecast based on trends and strategically shift sales, marketing, and product strategy to respond to market demands and to optimize revenue opportunities•Responsible for maintaining and growing average CPM and NPP•Partner with Associate Publisher to direct sales, marketing, and product strategy based on availability and sell through•Advise/consult with ad sales staff regarding advertising inventory, availability forecasting and campaign performance•Responsible for quality assurance of ad campaigns and the customer service aspect of Advertising Operations•Assist in the management of Ad Serving Platforms•Partner with various departments (Planning, Sales, Marketing, Product and Finance) in the rollout of new products•Assist in the development and management of programmatic solutions•Responsible for documenting Ad Operations procedures and policies•Work to troubleshoot and manage ad serving related issues•Assist with any special ad campaigns and/or coordination that may be needed•Stay on top of trends in both programmatic selling and ad operations in generalQualifications of the Ideal Candidate:•Management experience•Programmatic experience•Analytic experience •Forward thinker •Experience with digital ad serving technologies•Detailed oriented•A strong interest in digital publishing and an understanding of the online media landscape•Problem solving skills•Ability to multi-task and to work efficiently Minimum Job Requirements:•No less than 3 years full-time Advertising Operations experience in Digital Media and/or Publishing industry, no less than 1 of which in a supervisory capacity•Work experience using HTML and MS Excel•Experience with DFP Premium•Knowledge of 3rd party advertising tags•Experience with Google AdX (a plus)•Experience with Brightcove and Flite (a plus)Core Attributes:•Force of Ideas -- At the center of Atlantic Media work are the ideas within our writing.
