Summary of Role: The videographer is responsible for the set up and operation of audio and video equipment including video cameras, DSLRs, microphones and lighting equipment.

Essential Job Functions:
•Shooting, lighting, producing and editing media events, player interviews, features, and post-game video.
•Setting up live shots, sit-down interviews and communication systems.
•Gathering news sound from press conferences, team partners and other events as assigned.
•Shooting and occasionally editing game video for all studio shows and programming initiatives.
•Transporting and taking proper care of equipment.
•Acting professionally and remaining a positive force in a team environment.
•Operating all assigned equipment properly and efficiently with little or no supervision in the field.
•Participates in on-going training programs and initiatives.
•Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
Operations (Tactical Responsibilities)
•Adjust, troubleshot and operate electronic equipment used to record, edit and transmit television and/or multimedia content.
•Monitor incoming and outgoing signals to ensure high production values and standards are met.
•Diagnose and resolve technical issues in the field.
•Proficient knowledge and understanding of video/audio signal flow in the field.
•Compress, digitize, duplicate and store audio and video data using non-linear editing equipment.
•Perform minor repairs and routine cleaning of audio and video equipment.
•Create, maintain and update relevant documentation and paperwork relating to camera inventories and maintenance.
•Administrative duties include proper timecard entry, generating daily reports and communication with management and assignment desk on a daily basis.
•Flexible schedule and ability to work all game days or as needed by management.
•Other duties as assigned.

Magnitude & Autonomy of Decision Making
•When deployed in field without a producer or manager, they may have final decision making authority over the project.


Knowledge & Experience (Technical Responsibilities)
•Knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques.
•Hands-on experience with ENG video camera packages required. Experience with Sony XDCAM, DSLRs, large sensor cameras, broadcast, cine and prime lenses a plus.
•Professional experience with Sony F800, Sony F55, Sony EX-1, PMW-150 and Canon 5DmKiii and C300 cameras required.
•Strong understanding of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of Television Broadcast systems.
•Hands-on experience with Apple Final Cut Pro.
•Familiarity with wired and wireless microphones, audio mixers, IFB systems and signal flow.
•Familiarity with proper lighting techniques and able to set up interview locations while facing deadlines and other challenges as presented in the field.
•Familiarity working with Dalet preferred.
•Strong understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.

Formal Education & Certification
•College diploma or university degree in the field of Communications, Broadcasting, Radio/TV/Film, Engineering and/or 5 years equivalent work experience.


Travel Requirements:
•Travel depending upon project needs

Work Conditions
•Sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time.
•Overtime may be required in meet deadlines.
•Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and to handle other computer components.
•On-call availability for 24x7, 365 days a year.
