The PositionSenior Account Executive - Media and EntertainmentNew York or ChicagoThis position reports directly to Corey Weiner, Founder and COO.We're looking for an experienced senior account executive to develop new strategic partnerships with the biggest and best online media and entertainment companies. The successful candidate will have at least 4 years experience selling online advertising products to major publishers, and a deep understanding of the industry’s structures and systems.The RoleThe senior account executive will expand and diversify the profile of our company’s Boomerang platform by adding new partners and deepening existing relationships. Responsibilities will include:Achieve annual targets for revenue growth.Establish, grow, and maintain long-term working relationships with major entertainment companies and Web publishers.Arrange client meetings and events on an ongoing basis. Grow and maintain a prospect database.Inform new product developments with market and customer insights. Requirements B.A. or B.S. degree. 4+ years of direct sales experience with major media and entertainment companies. Extensive contact list and history of initiating and growing large relationships.Deep understanding of online media and the dynamics between brands, publishers, media agencies, and technology providers.A passion for, and a high degree of comfort with Internet advertising technology. Multilingual: must be fluent in Management, Brand, Salesperson, Agency, Ad Ops, and Publisher.Compensation Significant base salary, plus commission, economic interests, and generous health benefits.
