The Senior Manager of Multimedia Projects supervises the team responsible for multimedia projects for the ASPCA website, email and third party campaigns, as well as micro-sites. This position will oversee the production of photo/video assets for use by the ASPCA and will provide strategic input on photo shoots, storyboarding and script writing. The Senior Manager will manage organizational requests for photo/video support.

Job Responsibilities:

* Storyboard and script video projects in support of ASPCA fundraising campaigns and member communication efforts
* Collaborate with Senior Director of Member Communications to ensure unified presentation on multi-channel campaigns
* Manage workflow of ASPCA photo and video team
* Oversee photo/video project requests and help establish project timelines, utilizing freelancers when necessary
* Develop and oversee the addition of photo/video assets for ASPCA library
* Manage process of securing video assets/footage for use on all Direct Response Television (DRTV) ads.
* Work with Senior Director in the review of DRTV creative
* Lead video projects from concept to completion
* Direct photo shoots
* Manage ASPCA online video channels including YouTube and Vimeo
* Provide strategic input for selection of photo/video assets to be used across the various channels of Member Communication content
* Additional requests as necessary as requested by manager


* Bachelor’s Degree


* 3-5 years of experience in video production, preferably in a non-profit setting
* Previous management experience
* Previous work leading photo/video projects from concept to completion
* Experience in social media a plus

Knowledge Requirements:

* Knowledge and experience with Adobe PhotoShop, Fireworks, Dreamweaver and Flash
* Knowledge and experience with PCs and Macs
* Knowledge and experience with non-linear video editing systems

Skills Requirements:

* Creative problem solver with excellent visual design sense
* Organized and detail oriented
* Good time management skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills

Additional Information:

* Non-traditional hours (nights and weekends) will occasionally be necessary
* Moderate travel, sometimes on short notice, should be expected
