What you will be doing:
This is a full-time, sales position selling social media agency/consulting solutions businesses are desperately seeking. This is a high-profile position for an assertive self-directed individual seeking to fast track your sales career. Candidates must be able to self motivate and work independently in a virtual environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prospecting, COLD CALLING, negotiating, and closing new business
- Setting appointments via email/phone
- Build, develop and manage a qualified sales funnel of opportunities
- Travel occasionally, including overnight stays
- Build, grow and maintain accounts in your personal pool of contacts
- Deliver exceptional customer service and develop trusted relationships with clients
- Achieve a monthly/quarterly/annual sales goal
- Manage a high volume of outbound calls to warm marketing lists to uncover qualified sales opportunities
- Navigate corporate structures to identify decision makers and determine buying process
- Identify prospect's business needs and goals to determine solution
- Work closely with Sales Manager to increase close ratio and number of new customers
- Strong communication and organizational skills

Qualifications & Experience
- Love of social media; proven knowledge of social media platforms, including established tools and what’s on the horizon. (Ideal candidate is an ACTIVE social media user!)
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals
- Excellent communication skills and presentation/influencing abilities
- Minimum 3+ years of quota-carrying sales experience
- Sharp sales personality with successful track record
- Experience developing solid long-term relationships with senior executives and/or key decision makers at both client and agency level
- Able to work at a high velocity even under pressure
- Experience working in a start-up environment
- Understanding of how to use a CRM system, Zoho experience a plus
- Basic computer skills for efficient documentation and research
- Reliable, strong work ethic and able to work independently
- 4 year degree BA/BS preferred
- Social media, PR, or advertising sales experience preferred

- Compensation is base + commission
