The Role:

We’re expanding the content arm of HowAboutWe from one blog (The Date Report) to four. As the social media editor for HowAboutWe Media, you will launch social media accounts for all four blogs. You’ll be in charge of maintaining the accounts, engaging with followers, and building our audience. You’ll drive traffic to our sites and make our feeds a must-follow. You’ll also flag social trends to our editorial team, and, as time allows, create new blog content.

Your skills and qualifications:

-You have excellent editorial sensibilities and an engaging voice.
-You have prior experience managing professional social media accounts.
-You’re familiar with the tools that will help you do your job and the strategies that will help you excel at it.
-You know how to build an audience.
-You’re efficient and a fast worker.
-You know how to track social media analytics.
-Extra credit: You have multimedia experience and/or photo editing experience.
