A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in the beauty social media/digital space is required with the following qualifications:

1. Ability to partner with a brand’s marketing team and agency’s Public Relations teams while using analytics to increase day to day engagement
2. Proven experience in creating content strategy and developing brand “voice” within the various social spaces including Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook and InStagram.
3. Experience developing 360 degree social media campaigns utilizing various digital platforms.
4. Experience conceptualizing and then evaluating the success of social campaigns.
5. Background in the beauty industry -- either in house or at an agency -- with knowledge of beauty trends in skin care and hair care.
6. Experience managing a team of people.
7. Ability to work on several clients/projects at one time and communicate with them in a timely manner while managing a team and individual workload.
8. Work/liaise with both outside and internal developers and designers to conceptualize unique and exciting apps and initiatives beyond the typical sweepstakes, contests and sampling programs.
9. Experience hosting social events, i.e. a Tweet Up, blogger breakfasts, Facebook Chats, as well as live Q&A session.
10. Experience working with brand online teams to coordinate social and digital partnerships and integrations.
11. Awareness of the latest developments in the social media space and communicating those updates to clients and internal team.
12. Knowledge of best practices for Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and Google+.
13. Experience growing a department is also a big plus.
