Joe’s Pub is looking for a full-time Administration & Marketing Associate to perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization.

General tasks and responsibilities:
?Answers phones, checks messages, schedules meetings and keeps calendar for the Director of Joe’s Pub
?Supports Joe’s Pub staff by resolving administrative problems and inquiries, preparing agendas for meetings, recording and distributing minutes, filing and maintaining office supply inventory
?Works closely with Marketing Manager to submit and execute marketing materials such as monthly calendars, weekly marquees, weekly print advertisements, digital advertisements all within the framework of Public Theater institutional branding
?Maintains JoesPub.com content including media uploads and edits for artist and show pages in web based mail program
?Tracks nightly Stage Manager reports and follows up on show and venue issues
?Acts as point person for maintenance and repair work with Public Theater production staff about venue and office needs
?Works with the Associate Director of Joe’s Pub to assist with correspondence and walk-throughs for rental events

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experiences and qualities:

?2+ years administration experience
?Be highly organized, detail oriented, systematic, strong time management skills, and works well in a team
?Have strong written and verbal communication skills
?Have light graphic design skills and an artistic eye for creating promotional materials
?Knowledge of programs within Microsoft Office suite
?Proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator
?Have a working knowledge of New York City music/arts scene
?Be a self-motivated, creative, forward thinker
