Our innovative Business Development team at Lonely Planet helps hundreds of the world's leading brands develop innovative content and marketing solutions that deliver results, drive customer loyalty and put their brand front and center in the travel space.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Lonely Planet as a Project Manager based in our Franklin, Tennessee office. Reporting to the Global Production Director in the Business Development division, this role is offered as a full-time position.

The Project Manager is responsible for the production and delivery of B2B projects across digital, wireless and custom print products. This role works closely with internal and external project teams to develop product briefs; determine scope, requirements and content plans; assure scheduling, resource management, content creation and planning; and liaises either directly with clients, or through Business Development Managers, to obtain requirements and achieve deliverables.

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience successfully delivering digital and/or print products in an agency or B2B environment, with a demonstrated application of project management skills and understanding of product development processes. You will also have relevant experience working with website and/or digital media delivery and cross-functional teams, with a collaborative and consultative approach to dealing with colleagues, team members and business stakeholders. Previous experience with Agile delivery practices are not essential but would be highly regarded.

To be successful in this role you will need to be self-motivated and proactive, with an excellent customer-service focus. You will also need to have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to build effective working relationships with key business stakeholders. In addition, you will need to have strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle and manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and to adapt to changing and competing priorities, while maintaining high attention to detail.
