Digiday is seeking an Assistant Marketing Manager with 2-5 years’ experience in digital marketing. Our ideal candidate is a digital native, possessing outstanding organizational and communication skills; impeccable attention to detail; excellent writing skills; and a team-player attitude. The position requires the ability to coordinate a multitude of tasks with accuracy and promptness.

Must have knowledge of email marketing systems. Copywriting, digital advertising and social media experiences are strong pluses.


Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Manage the daily execution of Digiday’s promotional email campaigns, serving as a project manager to ensure all campaigns are deployed successfully and in keeping with the Digiday brand experience.

- Create marketing calendars and traffic creative assets through the routing and approval processes.

- Work with designers to build effective email campaigns that target relevant audiences from our database.

- Manage subscriber database—segmenting data for targeted email campaigns, updating current lists and creating new lists.

- Track email metrics and provide insight on best practices/program enhancements to optimize customer value and campaign results.

- Research, discover and utilize the latest social media tools and resources, and suggest creative ways to integrate with social media campaigns.

- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase visibility, traffic and engagement.

- This individual should have good time management skills, an understanding of the email landscape and ability to formulate new ideas and lead new projects.


Required Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree with a concentration in Marketing or a related field
- 2+ years online marketing experience
- Passion for tech and digital media industries
- Client centric / service minded approach
- Self-starter / entrepreneurial
