Digital Sales Account Manager
The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Digital Sales Account Manager to join our new media sales team. You will be responsible for working across HowAboutWe teams to support our sales and media planning effort. You will report directly to the VP for Media and Partnerships and will work alongside two sales executives. Key responsibilities include:Working with sales executives to build client decks and respond to RFPsBuilding media plans based on client objectives and leveraging HowAboutWe’s unique media inventoryLeading internal brainstorming on media package concepts across sales, editorial and other HowAboutWe teams Coordinating with in-house designers to create marketing assets for use in pitch materials and also for green-lit campaignsCoordinating with ad operations to successfully traffic campaignsManaging post-campaign reportingWho You AreYou are excited to join a leading consumer internet startup and get in at the ground floor of our new media sales effort. You have:2-4 years experience as an account manager at a digital media company/publisherYou are a self-starter and understand how to prioritize and manage your own time to meet deadlinesYou are a team player, with a strong sense of ownership and a 'get things done' attitudeYou are a critical thinker and know how to internalize client objectives as your ownExceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal presentation skillsProficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPointFamiliarity with DoubleClick DFP, DFA, Comscore Media Metrix, and Salesforce.com a plusKnowledge of current trends in the online advertising industryThis position is for full-time employment on-site in our office in DUMBO.
