•1+ year (s) of prior administrative experience
•1+ year (s) of prior publishing experience (Editorial or Agency)
•Excellent written and verbal communications skills
•Must have superb organizational, analytical, and time management skills
•Exceptionally strong attention to detail
•Ability to handle confidential/sensitive information discretely and with diplomacy
•Aptitude to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
•Proficiency in MS Office applications (especially within MS Outlook)

•Draft letters, memos and other materials
•Prepare and revise correspondence/internal and external documents/reports
•Write and edit contracts, license agreements, and legal documents
•Act as a liaison between inquiring parties and agents/authors
•Schedule meetings, teleconferences, appointments and manage calendar scheduling
•Handle and route high volume of incoming phone calls
•Maintain filing system and ensure filing remains current
•Processing manuscript submissions
•Process client checks and track client payments and contracts
•Additional responsibilities as assigned or requested
