ABC News' Nightline is looking for a Freelance crash producer for the nightly long form broadcast. Crash producers are expected to generate story ideas, turn news of day pieces for that night's show, research, book and conduct interviews, write scripts, exercise strong editorial judgment, and produce anchor and correspondent shoots under deadline. Qualified candidates should have at least 3 years of experience producing packages for a daily news broadcast, exceptionally strong narrative writing and reporting skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and prioritize under pressure is a requirement. Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task, and excellent storytelling instincts are a must, as well as the ability to work late evening shifts.

Digital shooting and editing skills are strongly preferred.
