Licensing Position: Jr. Photo Researcher

Education: BA/BS

Related Experience: Minimum of one year of relevant experience in Photography, Fine Arts, Media, PR, Advertising or Publishing. Foreign language skills are not mandatory but are greatly appreciated.

•Research online archive and create tailored celebrity and conceptual light boxes for Agents in order to generate licensing opportunities for our roster of photographers and estates.
•Research fashion/style/grooming credits and publication information for clients and image records.
•Curate and update master lightboxes of most requested topics, such as beauty, health & fitness and lifestyle/fashion.
•Help compile feedback on missing content and creative trends.
•Proactively pitch content to agents by creating tailored image sets in collaboration with sales.
•Manage the company contacts database, adding new clients and updating missing or incorrect information.
•Billing and invoice revision.


•Research experience with creative collections and the use of conceptual keywords
•Understanding of current trends in editorial and commercial photography
•Knowledge of print and online publishing industry a must
•A strong command of the Internet and a strategic approach to the research process
•Superior organizational skills
•Attention to detail
•Strong desire to become a specialist
•The ability to carry a project out from start to end – prioritizing tasks is key!
•Capacity to work in a fast paced environment under tight deadlines
•An ability to follow direction, and anticipate the needs of others
•Must be versed in MAC environment and be proficient in related software
•Extensive knowledge of pop culture (fashion, movies, music, blogs, etc) with an ability to forecast trends
•Adaptability, flexibility and eagerness
•Desire to be part of a team
