Full Time
Are you able to keep up with the Kardashians, whip up "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie puns on demand and seriously debate whether "Blurred Lines" or "Get Lucky" deserved the mantle of song of the summer?

The New York Daily News is looking for a gossip and entertainment online writer/reporter who is obsessed with pop culture and stays on top of movie, music and television news – and the personalities behind the headlines. The ideal applicant would have at least two years of experience filing multiple daily stories on tight deadlines and have a flair for tabloid-writing sensibilities. Responsibilities include finding potential stories, pitching ideas, putting a Daily News spin on the content and developing sources for enterprise reporting. The candidate would also be expected to be fluent in social media, occasionally program the Showbiz page and work at least one weekend day a week.

Perks include medical and dental benefits - and the chance to be a part of the one of the biggest and most respected news organizations in the nation.

The Daily News is an equal opportunity employer.
