Digital Content Director
The Digital Content Director will oversee the strategic direction, quality and effectiveness of the Motorcycle Group's digital initiatives. He/she will lead the planning, execution, tracking and performance reporting of digital content in order to meet established traffic, social media and email growth goals.Responsibilities include:-develop digital editorial strategy, production calendar and audience engagement objectives in partnership with senior leaders-help align editorial, sales, marketing and circulation business needs into a cohesive user experience across digital platforms-work with the Audience Development team to establish and advocate website, email, video and social media best practices-manage original digital content as needed; direct repurposing of print material for digital audiences-evaluate and help reposition products in response to performance metrics-provide technical support, coaching and feedback to editorial staff Requirements:-journalism experience and passion for motorcycling-staff management experience-well organized with excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills-passion for working in an editorial/newsroom environment and an appreciation for the service-oriented nature of digital products-experience working with project teams through the ideation , requirements, design, build and test phases of a project-publishing experience with Drupal, WordPress or similar content management system-thorough understanding of SEO and best practices in social mediaPlease include resume.
