About the position:The DC Group is hiring an Account Supervisor to manage several client accounts and to help contribute to the growth of our firm. The Account Supervisor will engage in daily client consultation and strategy development, produce high-level communications materials (including strategic plans, messaging, editorial content, marketing materials, etc.) and manage training, media relations and outreach campaigns. For assigned projects, the Account Supervisor will oversee timelines, budgets, resource utilization and management of junior staff and subcontractors, as needed. As a member of the firm’s management team, the Account Supervisor will also assist with business development, proposal writing and editing, mentorship/management and strategic planning.What's a good fit: Candidates must have four to seven years of prior public relations or communications experience and ideally will have strong agency experience supporting federal programs. Candidates must possess excellent writing and project management skills, eagerness to work in a fast-paced environment, experience with telecommuting and the ability to manage a diverse workload. Candidates must have experience managing and training more junior staff.
