Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Recruiting Manager to help support our growing New York businesses. The Advisor would work closely with managers in our New York offices supporting our advertising sales team as well as our new global business property. The Manager would also work with our Talent & Culture team in Washington, DC. Responsibilities Include:•Work closely with Hiring Managers to help and consult throughout the recruiting process•Advise Managers on building a pipeline for positions•Network and build relationships within the NY sales community•Utilize and manage social networking platforms to build pipelines and source candidates•Conduct research on the sales and media industry and monitor current trends in the marketplace•Help interview for a variety of positions to assess cognitive skills, interpersonal skills, writing ability and motivation•Build strong relationships with managers and staff across the company•Market the company to candidates, developing a sense for what sells in this market and how to package our positions and opportunities•Manage existing pipelines for talent and build new ones: generating new ideas for candidate sourcing, driving internal referrals and when appropriate managing relationships with search firms•Participate in a variety of special projects as needed Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate:•Superior organizational and prioritization skills•Extreme attention to detail•Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously•Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills•Superior service ethic, grace under pressure and spirit of generosity•Confidentiality with sensitive material and communication•Comfort level with ambiguity and urgency•Resourcefulness and ability to work proactively and independently •3-4 years of experience•Bachelor’s degree requiredCore Attributes:•Force of Ideas -- At the center of Atlantic Media work are the ideas within our writing.
