PCMag.com, the leading website for reviews, news, and opinion on technology, is looking for an Editor. We are seeking a digital media professional that can manage a team of hard-core technology experts and create stories that appeal to the broadest possible audience. PCMag builds on 30-years of editorial excellence to create digital products that help people get more from their technology. The position reports to the Editor-in-Chief.

Responsibilities Include:

•Daily management of PCMag.com editorial operations, from industry leading reviews to in-depth research and surveys to featured articles and content in text and video
•Supervise testing and lab operations to maintain quality, technical accuracy and impartiality of reviews for over 2,800 products a year
•Work with marketing, commerce and licensing departments to meet traffic and revenue goals while continuing to build upon the history and trust of our editorial brand
•Redefine featured content coverage to broaden PCMag’s editorial coverage.
•Work with counterparts to ensure all SEO and social media initiatives are executed and monitored
•Comfortable with acting as a corporate spokesperson and advocate via media appearances, interviews, sales calls, trade shows, etc.
•The ability to lead and inspire a team of creative personnel that love technology
•Develop and implement traffic growth plan for PCMag.com
Desired Skills and Experience:
•World class editing skills
•Proven record of staff management and site growth
•Technical expertise that ranges from Intel Core Processors to Vine
•Deep understanding of digital & social media
•Stellar organizational and time-management skills
•A knack for technical copy that is accurate, easy to grasp, and enjoyable to read
•Native understanding of how to tell a story online using text, images, audio, video, and social media
•An understanding of how to create content that draws an audience
•A passion for new technology, and a commitment to leveraging those tools for of increased efficiency and audience engagement.
•Familiarity with digital content consumption patterns and trends across multiple platforms.
•Comfortable with web analytics tools (Adobe Omniture, Google Analytics), and able to
•convert audience behavior metrics into action plans to drive improvements
•Minimum 10 years of experience
