Creative Director, Marketing and On Air Promotions

Fusion seeks a star to lead marketing and on-air promotions creative & strategic development. This individual should be creative, ambitious, and have a superb understanding of how to reach a young and diverse target audience. The Creative Director will lead brand management and align promotions and marketing creative internally and externally. The Creative Director will help position the network and create campaigns that will lead the national discourse on key topics related to the brand. This individual will play a significant role in crafting Fusion’s communications strategy to distributors, advertisers and business partners. Responsibilities: •Lead the marketing creative process – including creative brainstorming and creative kickoff.•Lead team of writers, producers and agencies in the creative development and execution of on-air promos, reels and sales tapes.•Lead the brand development and management for strategic initiatives.•Oversee the creation of all visual presentation materials for events and meetings.•Translate positioning strategy and consumer insights into compelling, sharp and effective marketing creative across all marketing channels: on-air/TV-spots, online marketing and acquisition, print, packaging, social, email/CRM, mobile in-app and more.•Work hand in hand with departments to identify programming priorities for promotional calendar, while gathering creative assets for tune-in promotion.•Regularly conduct competitive analysis and track best media practices across traditional and digital platforms. Qualifications:•8+ years experience in a brand development role for consumer / digital products.•Experience leading marketing creative and asset development.•Strong communication, collaboration and process management skills.•Experience managing creative, brand and/or marketing staff, agencies and/or vendors.
