PEOPLE, one of the largest media brands in the US, with 42.5 million readers per week and 1 billion pageviews per month is seeking an innovative digital marketing leader to build the next generation of consumers.

The candidate we are seeking will be responsible for evolving the brand’s approach to paid content and driving consumer revenue growth through mobile. To succeed in this role this person will need to be a highly driven, experienced consumer marketer with an eye on converting brand enthusiasts into paying customers. Reports into Associate Director, PEOPLE Digital Acquisition Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop a robust, creative and profitable strategic marketing plan to drive consumer revenue through PEOPLE’s mobile channels and new mobile products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and liaise with senior brand executives to develop new mobile products and create subscription integration opportunities within them
• Leverage research, analytics, and a test and learn approach to assess marketing campaign performance and effectiveness, and report findings/recommendations to senior management
• Evaluate and track influential media brands and their position on mobile marketing as well as identify opportunities in new mobile trends, external vendors, and emerging platforms
• Develop and maintain a multi-million dollar budget, including monthly financial reconciliations

Specific Attributes:
• Minimum 5 years in digital subscription marketing or e-commerce Data analytic skills + demonstrated ability to turn data-driven insights into actionable business results
• Proven track record of success
• Well-versed in mobile trends
• Creative and strategic thinker with ability to identify growth opportunities and deliver recommendations based on research and data
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Keen time management, staff development, and organizational skills
• Experience in launching/driving mobile engagement/app growth a plus
• Must be proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Solid working knowledge of and ability to interpret online metrics and research tools (i.e. Omniture, DART, etc)
