Job requirements:
•College degree is required, business or marketing focus preferred
•Minimum of 3 years of sales experience to major brands and/or agencies
•Experience in the marketing/experiential/promotional field regarding road tours, street teams, guerilla marketing, liquor promotions, car and new product launches, branding, alternative/touch marketing, consumer engagements, retail marketing, etc.
•Must come with a rolodex of contacts-potential clients, including contacts at Advertising Agencies, Media Companies, Marketing Companies, PR firms, and with direct clients. Must come with existing contact/client base
•Proven track record in the sales business
•Established history of building and maintaining business level relationships
•Strong client management skills
•Ability to articulate company value proposition to perspective clients
•Excellent presentation and communication skills in formal (e.g. client presentations, CEO introductions) and informal (facilitating internal meetings) settings
•Computer experience must include skills with Microsoft Office (including extensive experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Salesforce), in addition to Internet usage
•A positive, ambitious work attitude – Job will be mobile
•Creative and persuasive personality balanced by a strong diligent work ethic
•Ability to work in a face-pace environment
•Prefer hands-on experience in marketing whether in an office atmosphere and/or in the field. An agency background is desired.
•Keen understanding of relevant cultural and advertising/promotional trends
•Sense of urgency for goal achievement
•Motivated by a “can do” attitude, a passion for excellence and a desire to increase your own monetary revenue based on your performance
•Responsible for generating leads, face-to-face meetings and new clients through cold-calling, utilizing contacts, etc.
•Proactive thinker and a keen understanding of all aspects of experiential marketing and consumer engagements
