TVGN has an immediate opening for a Program Planning Coordinator to manage its scheduling and acquisitions in accordance with the network’s strategy. The role will support all program planning on the linear channel and video on demand service.

Responsibilities for this position will include:
Schedule the network utilizing the SIMS scheduling system. Help maintain Program Planning Charts, Movie Inventory documents, and Network One Sheets.
Help identify acquisition needs, as well as update and maintain acquisition grids of current/future/prospective programming with contractual dates and run/exhibitions.
Responsible for developing and communicating monthly VOD and Broadband schedule and folder structure to VOD Operations team and Affiliate Sales.
Maintain various programming files, databases and other electronic correspondence. Inventory management which ranges from, but not limited to asset creation, data entry, run reports and monitoring asset compliance.

The Coordinator will also be responsible for the external distribution of the schedule to listing agencies and within company intranet.
Create all program formats working closely with Ad Sales, Traffic, Producers and Marketing to optimize ratings and fulfill our agreements for national ads/local avails. Distribute all special formats including top spots, interstitials and integrations for ad sales.
Provide broadcast air date reports to acquired programming distributors on a monthly basis.
Liaison with the Re-cuts and Post Production teams on deliverables and version requirements for acquired and outsourced programming including appropriate lengths, edit approval for content and deadlines for air.
Oversee all SIMS, Intranet, Encompass, ION, Tribune, Rovi, Vault and Massstore functions for listings partners.
Serve as initial contact for daily internal program, schedule and format issues from other departments.
Assist in facilitating calls, setting up meetings and file keeping for the Vice President, Scheduling and Acquisitions Department.
Additional administrative tasks and other duties as needed.

Job Requirements:
Ideal candidate will have 2 -3 years of experience within a television network, Program Planning or Scheduling department, preferred.
Experience with SIMS scheduling system is preferred, but not required.
Strong knowledge of Excel.
Effective communicator.
Attention to detail.
Ability to manage tasks simultaneously is a must..
