Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for coordination of all advertising materials
• Handles production details for advertising, using ad management systems
• Liaison with Publisher, sales, advertisers to obtain materials, signed IOs, etc.
• Checks and confirms positioning to ensure placement and material accuracy of advertising
• Initiate/communicate package size analysis to all ad, edit, production, finance departments
• Create issue specific dummy/map incorporating all editorial, advertising, circulation components
• Generate Press instructions packet
• Initiate Print Order
• Maintain and adhere to production schedule deadlines
• Vendor Performance/Quality
• Review/Route Page Proofs; approve corrections
• Create/communicate postal markup of final printed magazines (est. weight)
• Double check all orders against insertion orders
• Work in Adobe InDesign/Bridge to make advertising changes and place ads

Job Requirements:

• College degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years experience in production management in the publishing industry
• Computer proficiency in Excel, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast paced, deadline-driven, dynamic environment
