CMT is seeking a Senior Vice President to oversee all consumer marketing and creative for our world-class media brand. Working closely with the President, the successful candidate will be a thought leader within the organization. S/he will:

•Develop and support cross-company, multi-channel consumer strategies, as well as breakthrough creative initiatives which will lead to increased market share and contribute to overall audience growth.
•Partner extensively throughout the organization, specifically with Programming, Production, Corporate Communications and Digital.
•Build, lead, develop and motivate a world-class marketing team.
•Develop and drive breakthrough campaigns to the forefront of the entertainment marketing landscape
•Be a member of the leadership team and a key contributor to continued profitable growth; contributing to all aspects of corporate strategy.
•Evangelize and communicate brand presence to stakeholders.
•Provide leadership and direction for all on air, off channel and cross platform communications for both consumer and industry trade facing communication.
•Extend brand consistency and strength across all platforms.
•Oversee all marketing plans and strategies to contribute programming success.
•Establish and build key external partnerships; evangelize the company within the industry and trade groups as well as the media.
•Select, direct and manage outside agencies.
•Manage marketing budget, determine appropriate marketing financial investments across all consumer touch-points, and assure effective spending and accountability for ROI.

•A minimum of ten years of executive-level marketing experience within a best-in-class consumer marketing environment at a Cable or Broadcast Network.
•B.A. Marketing (or equivalent); MBA preferred.
•A successful track record in both strategic and promotional/tactical marketing including supervising advertising and media agencies, as well as leading the strategic planning behind brand, creative and media.
•Proven ability to coalesce cross functional teams.
•Ability to influence and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders
•Extensive experience using market research to fuel breakthrough creative and business results by identifying key consumer insights and trends, as well as reviewing competitive activity to identify brand and business differentiators.
•Proven expertise in digital/social media strategies and deep knowledge of emerging digital trends
•Experience with media planning, account management at an agency, and/or direct-to-consumer marketing.
•Must exude passion for the CMT brand
