Responsibilities

Drive discussions about foreign aid and international development online
Produce digital content for Devex social media channels (daily social media posts across multiple channels, photo stories, slideshows, digital downloads etc.)
Manage and update all Devex social networks (accept requests, moderate discussions etc.)
Gather and track social analytics data on a weekly and monthly basis
Work with multiple teams across Devex to coordinate social media activities for special communications campaigns


Minimum Qualifications

Proven journalism experience
Relevant undergraduate degree
Excellent writing skills
Passion for and some knowledge of the issues surrounding foreign aid and international development
Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools – including Hootsuite
Passion for social media with a flair for blogging and tweeting
U.S. work authorization
Preferred Qualifications

Proven experience working with the international aid & development community
Blogging experience
Design, photo and video editing skills
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (light editing only)
