We’re looking for a senior strategist with a minimum of six years experience, who will be an integral
part of the New York Office. Our ideal candidate is an eclectic and insightful thinker with strong
analytic and creative skills, preferably developed across a wide variety of categories (including
CPG, Financial Services, Technology) and communicat ion disciplines.
Driven by constant curiosity and a passion for innovation and change, the candidate should have a
strong understanding of how human behavior, contemporary brands and today’s society work as well as
how technology and culture interact and influence t hem all.
Exceptional writing and presentation skills, a care for details and a genuine interest for creativity
in all its forms are definitely a plus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for igniting business for existing NY clients/new business opportunities
• Work across 2-4 accounts (project and retainer based) reporting to the Head of Strategy, NY
• Activated on potential global New Business initiatives in partnership with gyro’s global CSO
• Develop single-minded, inspiring strategies/briefs to enable the creation of expansive ideas
• Drives creative curation with ECD/creative teams by promoting a consistent, inspiring interaction
• Constantly communicate with account managers and creative in the process of developing a campaign
• Use proprietary tools and create innovative approaches to identify key customer/consumer insights
• Develop/refine integrated plans and cross-functional projects from initiation to implementation
• Ability to facilitate groups, communicate effectively to large audiences and one-on-one
• Confidently lead and moderate client-facing meetings with middle and senior management
• Manage/analyze campaign metrics and reporting to evaluate the effectiveness of ideas/campaign
• Commission research as required using both qualitative methods and quantitative methods
• Monitor cultural, social and technological trends and their impact on customers and consumers’
attitudes/perceptions as well as on society at large
• Develops/supports thought leadership initiatives for gyro NY and the network at large
• Ability to lead through ambiguity and adaptable to changing priorities
