We need a Event Coordinator/Social Media Specialist to help build our brand equity by developing and supporting our field-marketing programs , driving sales and achieving specific event marketing goals. Key Areas of Responsibility

Help book event space/venues, arrange food and beverages, order supplies and audiovisual equipment, arrange for allocation and shipment of MakerBot products, make air and ground travel arrangements, order event signs, and ensure appropriate displays/marketing materials
Ensure extra event staff is signed up when needed and adequately prepared for the event
Be responsible for managing events and ensuring deadlines and budgets are adhered to
Represent and deliver service excellence that is in keeping with the MakerBot brand
Troubleshoot and smooth issues relating to the successful execution of the event program
Work with communications staff to ensure that events receive optimal media coverage
Assist with managing on-site production and clean up for events as necessary
Arrange for and obtain signage, booth exhibits, nametags, materials, notebooks, packages, gift bags, registration lists, etc.
Close out all events as required
Develop content across social channels. Including, but not limited to blogs, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pintrist, Tumblr, and Instagram
Utilize measurement tools to provide progress reports and mine insights, while continually finding ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives
Other duties as assigned or needed

Job Qualifications
Experienced MakerBot operator. Able to set-up and troubleshoot all products, as needed, in the field
Experienced with Thingiverse, scanning programs, 3D design software
Excellent communication skills, including writing, proof reading skills, and speaking
Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments
Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with high professionalism
Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision
Fantastic customer service ethic and high expectations for quality
Bachelor’s degree preferred; significant work experience can substitute for the degree
At least 3 years experience with office administrative management
At least 1 year experience coordinating special events
Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
The candidate will need to be willing and able to travel internationally and/or up to 50% of their job
