We are seeking a Senior Strategic Planner to join our Pittsburgh team.

The Senior Strategic Planner will be primarily responsible for driving the strategic platform development for assigned clients at the executive level.

The required skill set for this role includes:
- Research ambidextrous - experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative research.
- Strong interview skills, including extensive experience conducting ethnographies.
- Familiar with standard syndicated research tools, including MRI and Yankelovich.
- Digital savvy and can leverage the power of social media for insights.
- Critical thinking skills: analytical and creative.
- Naturally curious - knows how to tap into pop culture.
- Can dig for insights wide and deep - through an understanding of the business, consumer, brand, categories, media connections and touch-points.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Serve as the lead strategist on assigned accounts.
- Shape, define and understand the core target audience.
- Identify and manage primary and secondary research needs.
- Write creative breifs to provide clear and compelling creative direction.
- Stay current with consumer trends and connected to popular culture.
- Be a collaborative partner in working end-to-end across disciplines - creative, media, digital, direct, and account management.
- Be an ambassador in embracing the agency's planning philosophy.
- Understand the digital landscape and provide connections planning input.

- Four-year degree is required.
- Anthropology, Sociology or Psychology degree preferred.
- The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of prior planning experience.
