Position: Product Marketing Manager

Role: The Product Marketing Manager drives end-to-end execution of all display advertising campaigns on AOL Finance – from ideation to sale, delivery and wind-down. Reporting to the AOL Finance General Manager, this role interacts with many internal stakeholders within both AOL Brands & AOL Advertising throughout the process, including but not limited to: Editorial, Product Management, Audience Development, Sales, Sales Strategy and Ad Operations.

In the Product Marketing Manager role, you will collaborate with your brand team to execute the display advertising strategy for AOL Finance and achieve associated display advertising revenue goals.


?Lead pre-sale marketing operations for all display advertising revenue streams in AOL Finance
?Serve as the primary point of contact for Sales/Account Management and Sales Strategists for RFP’s
?Manage, track and communicate sales pipeline, RFPs, pitches and other sales-related activity
?Update Sales and internal groups around AOL Finance properties of the following: new product features, product news, new sponsorships, editorial mission and traffic/ranking wins, etc.
?Manage the update of all marketing and sponsorship collateral for AOL Finance properties, including but not limited to: General presentations, media kits, sponsorship one-sheeters, etc.
?Establish yourself as a go-to expert on the Finance audiences.
?Lead the planning and execution of Quarterly Sales Roadshows, including all materials needed to effectively communicate sales opportunities within AOL Finance’s properties

?Lead post-sales operations for all display advertising revenue streams in AOL Finance
?Serve as the primary point of contact for Vertical Operations, BA and Sales/Account Management for sold sponsorships, attending account management calls as needed
?Serve as the primary point of contact for Finance product and project management teams, helping lead launches of sponsorships and custom executions and writing product requirements as needed
?Manage third-party campaigns and relationships
?Monitor, facilitate and report on all impending launches during weekly team meetings (roadblocks, sponsorships, custom ad execution, etc)
?Monitor delivery on all sold campaigns and, as needed, work with internal stakeholders to ensure full delivery
?Help brainstorm growth opportunities for existing sponsorships/accounts
?Provide post-mortems for completed ad campaigns

Required Skills: To be successful in this role, the candidate should have the following skills and/or qualities:

?Undergraduate degree. Masters degree desirable.
?3-5 years of experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Online Account/Relationship Management, Marketing and Online Sales Operations
?Must be a team player with a passion for superior customer service
?Must have excellent organizational and project management skills
?Excellent communication skills are required
?Requires strong analytics skills – ie a passion for data and using it to tell a compelling story
?Strong knowledge of display advertising operations, pricing and packaging strategies

Desired Skills:
Technical knowledge of basic coding skills (HTML, Javascript) desired but not mandatory
Comfortable in, and energized by, dynamic rapidly-changing environments
