Thomson Reuters is seeking a sales expert to drive custom content & creative solutions for Based in the U.S (NY), this role will report directly into the US Head of Sales. The Custom Solutions Director will be charged with spearheading innovative content and creative solutions that drive “best in class” ideas, generating incremental revenues for both the consumer and agency media teams within Reuters Media. This includes developing solutions and driving awareness around key editorial (franchise) offerings, while also solving for tailored content and creative advertising opportunities. With backing from editorial, sales, marketing support, design and business development, this role will be tasked with generating, and project managing, innovative solutions for the Reuters client base.


- Management of US Custom Solutions P&L.
- Regular interface with all internal constituents in Sales & Marketing Support, Product, Audience & Analytics, Editorial and Development teams to drive successful custom programs for our clients.
- Through interaction with the above-mentioned constituents, develop solutions for the sales team, with responsibility in pitching/presenting the ideas to agencies and clients.
- Project Manage these solutions, and all associated components, from inception to successful completion.
- In conjunction with stakeholders, develop scalable pricing solutions and scalable campaign schematics.
- Based on client and agency “success metrics”, ensure all audience and engagement criteria are successfully met.
- Provide accurate and detailed reporting for management and work closely with finance to forecast revenue.
- Keep informed of current digital trends and be proactive in recommending opportunities for Reuters sales teams and associated constituents.

- 8-10 years experience in digital media
- Must have working, in-depth experience of developing and managing end-to-end custom solutions, in concert with associated stakeholders. This includes, but is not limited to tailored content platforms, multi-platform advertising solutions, social media extension and events. Business/Finance/News experience preferred
- Commercial and strategic thought leadership
- Customer-focused, with excellent written and verbal communication, networking and negotiation skills
- Ability to think and act globally
- Extremely detail-oriented and well-organized
- Proven track record of leading and project managing custom solutions
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and analytical
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a high-paced environment and under tight deadlines
