On our team, your primary responsibilities will include:

•Deployment of creative and engaging email marketing campaigns (daily and weekly)
•Build newsletter templates (from end-to-end) that are optimized for successful delivery and engagement, and develop styles in rhythm with (or in defiance of) current trends and fads
•Manage mailing lists and develop segmentation strategies to increase engagement, to sustain retention, and to exceed expectations on all fronts
•Gauge performance metrics, comparatively assess email analytics, and send email test blasts, for quality assurance, using third party and company-owned applications or using the built-in software included with email service providers (ESPs)
•Curate offers based on subscriber interests (list to list) and based on custom list segmentations
•Work closely with marketing teams, creative groups, and technology experts to meet short-term and long-term goals
•Ensure CAN-SPAM compliance with awareness of industry standards and good marketing practices/ strategies

Required Skills:

•Adobe Creative Suite
•Experienced with ESPs (email service providers)
•Knowledge of social media platforms
•Microsoft Office Suite


•You have 2-3 years professional experience in the digital world, managing email-based marketing content. You have a firm grasp on the best email marketing practices (from creating the most effective campaigns to critically assessing performance metrics to managing an email list of over 500,000 people).
•You have a natural tendency to share, hone, and receive ideas. You can make important marketing decisions based on analytics.
•In addition to demonstrable experience managing multiple projects and working with cross-functional teams, your work history must reflect the successful management of third-party email service providers. In addition, you are creative, highly organized, articulate, flexible, and take a very hands-on approach. Your ability to manage email programs from delivery to engagement, including back-end analysis, sets you apart, and you have a strong visual aesthetic, and the creativity to spot opportunities based on data analysis.
