We are seeking a VP, Group Media Director to join our Boston team.Mediahub/Mullen is looking for a Group Media Director to run one of our expanding list of entertainment accounts. Must have a minimum of 10 years experience at a leading full service or media agency. Tune-in or entertainment experience is a must. The VP, Group Media Director will have a track record of creating inventive media solutions, strong client relationships, training and development of media planning staff, and a work style that emphasizes collaboration with peers in other disciplines. Experience in new business is strongly preferred.A VP, Group Media Director at Mediahub Mullen must possess the following qualities -
  • Strategic Agility - the ability to drive strategic leadership within the department, always looking to improve our offering and capabilities. This person must always be actively involved in leading clients' strategic direction, pushing them and junior team members to think strategically (laying out the framework for execution). This person must also embrace uncertainty and thrive on the challenge of doing something they've never done before. Being able to hold their own at the highest levels of the organization and being well-versed in our tools/resources is a must.
  • Business Acumen - a deep knowledge of their clients' businesses, not just from a media perspective, but also from a marketing perspective and beyond. They must stay smart on marketing and business topics, understand their clients' pain points, look for "teachable" moments with junior employees, and ensure they always have their finger on the pulse of the health of their clients.
  • Innovative Spirit - always challenging "the standard" and bringing solutions to the table. This person must know how to teach people how to become idea people, be a master at the art of selling in an idea, and be looking for innovation everywhere.
  • Leadership - the ability to seamlessly manage multiple clients and maintain a superior level of client satisfaction. This person should be proactive in sending ideas to their clients, constantly developing things that clients aren't even asking for, and always looking to improve our offering.
  • Strong Communication Skills - must excel in the new business arena and foster a very tight relationship with key creative teams. This person must be comfortable with regularly soliciting feedback from the rest of the department to improve work load, education, and opportunities for junior employees. They must create and foster relationships in the industry and across businesses with an eye out for potential for new business opportunities.

    Four-year degree is required.10+ years agency & mar-comm experience is required.You must be eligible to work in the United States to be considered for this position.Mullen is an eoe encouraging diversity in the workplace.
