Membership Marketing Manager
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Database Marketing and Membership the Membership Marketing Manager is primarily responsible for the execution of ongoing Friends of Lincoln Center communications and acquisition campaigns. This position is within the Marketing Department, but works closely with Planning and Development, particularly the Director of Individual Giving and the Membership Associate.The Membership Marketing Manager supports all database-driven and direct marketing campaigns for Marketing and Membership efforts and strives to move patrons up Lincoln Center's loyalty pyramid through the analysis of ticket purchase, membership involvement, and patron intelligence. This position manages the day-to-day campaign support for Lincoln Center's membership marketing campaigns. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Work with the Assistant Director of Database Marketing and Membership to mine patron databases for patron intelligence insights and make recommendations on Membership and Marketing strategies.- Support the execution, and analysis of direct marketing campaigns (email, direct mail, telemarketing) for Marketing and Membership making customer-driven sales recommendations and developing campaign test strategies with the Assistant Director.- Manage inter-department workflow for Marketing and Membership direct marketing efforts (email, direct mail, telemarketing) ensuring that deadlines are met and campaigns are executed as scheduled.- Manage a multi-channel solicitation schedule for the Friends of Lincoln Center and direct outside vendors as necessary with the Assistant Director.- Coordinate copy, scheduling, and audience targeting for Marketing and Membership email campaigns with Digital Marketing Services.- Ensure Membership materials are accurate and produced in a timely fashion coordinating with Digital Marketing Services, Planning & Development, and Creative Services departments.- Manage in-house supplies for Membership campaign efforts and coordinate with Production departments and outside vendors to maintain appropriate quantities.- Produce and manage monthly renewal and acquisition mailings for Friends of Lincoln Center.- Select and export lists from patron databases (SRO, Pledgemaker, Tableau) for direct marketing efforts.- Work closely with Membership Associate and Assistant Director to ensure patron databases are updated, accurate, and de-duped as best as possible.- Work with the Assistant Director to analyze the history of Friends of Lincoln Center retention and acquisition statistics to evaluate Membership benefits and improve campaign ROI.- Monitor retention and acquisition solicitation efforts and schedules for the Friends of Lincoln Center ensuring that fiscal year goals are achieved and within budget.- Serve as liaison with CenterCharge (in-house calling) for telemarketing and tele-fundraising campaigns. Monitor results and ROI.- Coordinate with the Membership Associate to ensure Marketing promotions are leveraged for the Friends of Lincoln Center as necessary.- Attend Membership events to support fulfillment and stewardship efforts.- Execute and analyze patron surveys across Marketing and Planning & Development.- Provide thought leadership and creative vision for the ongoing evolution of the Membership program.QUALIFICATIONS- 2-4 years of experience in a fundraising environment.- Familiarity with patron databases and campaign management.- Strong background in direct marketing solicitations (email, direct mail, telemarketing).- Excellent customer service and communication skills.- Keen attention to detail.- Excels as part of a team.- Bachelor' s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.SUBMISSION PROCEDURESend cover letter (including salary requirements) and resume to firstname.lastname@example.org.
