The Marketing Solutions Group is a dynamic advertising agency-oriented environment.

The Director, Team Lead Senior Client Manager is a player/coach role, responsible for partnering with the VP Client Development to create proposals and Statements of Work, and also responsible for developing go-to-market custom-designed marketing campaigns and market research initiatives, for the Group’s clients. The role also carries supervisory responsibility for up to three Client Managers who, each in their respective roles also develops go-to-market campaigns.

The position will require aptitude in five key areas – Proposal and Statement of Work Writing, Digital Media, Project Management, Client Management, Team Leadership – and day-to-day activities may include, but are not limited to:

Creation of Go-To-Market Marketing Campaigns and Market Research initiatives:
•Proposal writing:
•In partnership with V.P Client Development, identify the appropriate blend of proprietary assets, to address clients’ business goals/needs
•Author proposals and Statements of Work to support new business pitches for Group
•Project Management:
•Project-manage clients’ marketing campaigns and market research initiatives, from development to in-market execution, and performance tracking and measurement.
•Identify and manage resources and timelines for projects.
•Negotiate work items, timeline between technical teams and business.
•Manage projects to expense budgets.
•Contribute to overall Group’s goal to create best-in-class campaigns. Templatize for scalability, roll-out.
•Technical/Digital Media Implementation:
•Collaborate with developers, freelance editors, creative services, marketing teams, agencies, digital experts, list managers, third party providers to negotiate work items;
•Responsible for monitoring email marketing campaigns within the email service providers’ platforms, and understanding of the data and reports these systems generate
•Oversee list and data segmenting
•Work with digital operations team to implement new testing strategies
•Work with marketing/creative team to optimize the layout, content, and targeting of effective email designs, and to Design and develop content/rich media applications and assets
•Serve as main point of contact for internal agency/brand sales team to ensure client campaigns are deployed properly
•Ensure overall quality and implementation of technical/digital media assets
•Perform multiple levels of testing for the various phases of the project
•Build a social media presence for client programs – SEO, SEM, social network marketing
•Project Performance Measurement:
•Identify appropriate KPIs for each project.
•Install project tracking mechanisms and reporting systems.
•On-going tracking and measurement.
•Post-program evaluation and recommendation.

Client Management:
•Establish and build direct relationships with company’s clients
•Manage clients within scope of contractual agreements
•Identify up-sell sales opportunities, and partner with internal clients including VP Client Development, to convert these to sales.
Team Leadership:
•Oversee management of up to three Client Managers,
•Responsible for workflow efficiencies and project allocation across the Client Managers reporting to role
•Responsible for timely and cost-efficient execution of all client projects in the team of Client Managers reporting to role
•Inject industry best-practices – particularly with respect to digital marketing - within the broader MSG team to continually enhance overall team capabilities
The Director, Team Lead Senior Client Manager, draws on a diverse range of proprietary assets including, and not limited to:
•Proprietary audience: SourceMedia, via its digital and print B2B publications, is the leading publisher in financial services, and has the industry’s leading audience database, representing more than 1.3 million business decision makers in the financial and technology information sectors.
•Marketing solutions: Includes print (e.g. white papers, magazines, supplements, industry journals), and digital products (e.g. websites, e-books, Web seminars, e-Newsletters, video casts, blogs, eAdvertorials), and executive roundtables, with a focus on digital.
•Proprietary research products: Includes qualitative (e.g. in-depth executive interviews) and quantitative (e.g. surveys, and indexes) research studies.
Requirements: Required Qualifications and Skills:

•Industry Experience:
•Minimum 6 years agency side experience (client side marketing experience a plus)
•Minimum 8 years in direct response B-2-B marketing in digital environments (print a plus)
•Minimum 10 years in client facing marketing roles.
•Preferably financial and/or technology information verticals experience
•Supervisory Experience for direct reports
•Client Development Skills:
•Personable, self-motivated , entrepreneurial spirit
•Collaborate, works well in cross-matrix environments,
•Excellent written (particularly for proposal writing and Statements of Work) and verbal communication skills
•Confident to work at all vertical levels within company, and as well with clients
•Project Management Skills:
•Superior organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
•Outstanding ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and with cross-functional teams from web development, creative services, marketing and business leaders
•Ability to manage projects within scope as per the contract, on time and within budget
•Technical Skills:
•Excellent digital marketing (microsites, online media production, email/lead gen marketing, web analytics) skills. ( Offline - print magazines, executive roundtables, white papers - skills a plus)
•Strong experience with business case development
•Excellent knowledge of project management fundamentals including Critical Path Analysis, Project Schedule
•Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PPT.
•Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver a plus
•Excellent digital and social media skills (i.e., web analytics, experience creating posts for social networking sites, SEO and SEM best practices etc.)
•Experience analyzing market research results for quant ( pie charts, graphs, and other output formats) and qual research, and drawing business insights from the results to make marketing recommendations
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
