Key Responsibilities

• Run the day to day posting, monitoring and engagement across all existing and future social channels.
• Write, edit and repurpose stories and copy for social mediums.
• Report on social media metrics, insights and referral trends.
• Execute periodic social media campaigns in collaboration with key advertisers and partners.
• Participate in campaign proposal brainstorms.
• Identify industry and audience trends within social platforms.
• Work with key internal departments to ensure adherence to best practices and provide periodic training.
• Work with Sales and Marketing to execute sponsored and partner posts.
• Maintain and grow our strongest existing presences.
• Develop new strategies to engage with our underperforming brands.
• Assist in developing long term, ever-changing, social media strategy.

Requirements:

• Extensive professional experience and familiarity with mature and emerging social platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+ and more.
• Experience and passion for data: Google Analytics, FB Insights and other measurement platforms.
• Ability to communicate ideas in written form: strategy one-sheets or creative briefs.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with others through proactive communication and collaboration.
• Strong copywriting skills.
• Solid organizational skills including excel spreadsheets and Google docs.
• Must have basic Photoshop skills with a good design eye.
• Experience with Wordpress a big plus.
• A sense of humor.

Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in communications, journalism or marketing preferred.
