Oxford University Press seeks an enthusiastic and motivated candidate for the position of Assistant Marketing Manager. The candidate will work with the Marketing Manager to develop and execute title level / subject level marketing plans and work closely with Publicity, Editorial, and Sales to explore all marketing opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare, refine and implement marketing campaigns, including direct mail, social media, merchandising, advertising, digital marketing, etc.
• Write and develop marketing materials, including sell sheets, flyers, ads, brochures, sales presentations, and catalog copy.
• Compiles and communicates marketing plans to editors, authors, and agents
• Develop promotional partnerships with on and offline partners to leverage exposure for our content
• Analyze sales and develop strategies to increase market share
• Communicate marketing plans to authors, editors, publicity, sales, and colleagues around the globe
• Represent OUP in a professional manner at select conferences

Requirements:
• 3+ years related experience in marketing. Nonprofit, media, or publishing experience preferred.
• Must be able to demonstrate initiative, creative problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills as well as a genuine and demonstrable interest in publishing and marketing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office a must
• BS/BA Degree
