This position will report to the Director of Retail Marketing, and will focus on new business retail opportunities. This position will be instrumental in creating new relationships with retailers and developing marketing programs to engage new and existing consumers for Nickelodeon brands. The retail marketing manager will be responsible for developing marketing presentations and pitches at multiple retail accounts, including Walmart. The Manager will work collaboratively with internal sales teams to create go to market strategies as it relates to engaging and talking to the consumer.

Responsibilities:
-Idea generation and strategizing marketing campaigns to support CP at retail, and work hand in hand with sales teams to drive revenue
-Develop relationships with internal contacts across different lines of business within Nickelodeon (brand marketing, creative, consumer products LOB’s, etc…) and collaborate with them to get insights on their specific categories and keep them up to date with everything happening with assigned retail accounts
-Become Nickelodeon brand expert in order to manage external contact (retailers, creative agencies, etc…) to create cohesive marketing campaigns and align with all internal marketing
-Develop marketing presentations and pitch materials that will be used both internally and externally to help pitch new ideas, programs, and themes for retail
-Share management duties of a coordinator, and delegate daily tasks to manage timelines, routing, meeting notes, organization, and project managing programs
-Manage media and ancillary requests for respective accounts
-Develop and maintain an understanding of respective retailers, providing insights to the entire retail marketing team on the competitive landscape.
-Execute all levels of marketing support (i.e. online banners, social media promotions, print, TV, etc…) by working hand-in-hand with internal/external partners
-Research and liaise with new technologies and out of the box/innovative ways to help drive consumer engagement
-Conceptualize and execute retail based events that include in-store execution, premiums, demonstrations, character appearances, etc…
-Contribute to the definition of retail marketing strategies that support the broader property plans
-Work with Director to establish and manage budget for all retail marketing programs related to respective retail accounts
-Some travel required

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree
-3-5 years experience in licensing, consumer products, marketing, retail, ecommerce, or related field
-Strong verbal and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and presentations
-Ability to develop strong working relationships with management and external resources
-Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple, diverse projects/assignments in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
-Strong analytical skills
-Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
-Creative team player with high energy and a passion for product, entertainment, and marketing
-Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to a wide and diverse audience
-Sound judgment and ability to provide information toward the determination of process and strategy
-Ability to exercise high degree of professionalism
-Strong Business ethics

Desired Qualifications:
-Experience in developing and managing marketing budgets
-Working knowledge of entertainment industry, familiarity with animation, programming, and/or production processes
-Social media and technology savvy
-Keen eye for design and with copy
