Functioning as a team with an Assistant Art Director, the Copywriter is responsible for developing executions of approved creative concepts and may assist senior Creative team members.

* Works with Assistant Art Director to develop print, TV and radio presentations and executions

* Presents layouts and storyboards to Creative Director for approval

* May present layouts and storyboards to client for approval

* Keeps abreast of trends, talent, competitive advertising and target mindset

* May assist senior Creative team members

* Attends shoots and sessions under the supervision of senior Creative team members

* Contributes to new business pitches


- Ensures professional presentation of concepts

- Maintains effective communication with all relevant internal and external contacts

- Expresses thorough understanding of clients business

- Solicits “the right information” upfront translating to a better product the first time

- Provides pertinent information to team members on a timely basis

- Manage own time and output in line with deadline and budgetary requirements of the job

- Proven ability to ‘sell’ creative concepts to client and Agency staff

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred

- 1+ years experience or advertising school degree required
