Cambridge University Press ELT is seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent communication and project management skills to support the US office and the global ELT business as an Enterprise Analyst, reporting to the Global Publishing Operations and Processes Manager.

This role is an integral member of the Knowledge Management Team, working directly with ELT team leaders and a Cambridge-based Enterprise Analyst to agree business requirements for systems, data, and related processes. Responsibilities include: building cases for systems solutions, supporting Business Solutions Analysts and other IT specialists to ensure that projects deliver stated benefits; providing local support to US users of proprietary data systems; and managing data for the US ELT publishing group. In addition you will manage any future ELT projects as directed by your line manager.

Candidates for Enterprise Analyst should have a proven track record working with databases, processing and analyzing high volumes of data. They should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (including MS Visio). Knowledge of Cambridge’s data systems and SAP is advantageous, but not essential, as training will be provided; however, candidates should demonstrate an ability to quickly achieve a high level of proficiency and independence in the use of unfamiliar systems.

Project management experience is essential, and people management experience will be beneficial. Candidates must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, great attention to detail, an excellent command of both written and spoken English, and excellent interpersonal skills, including an ability to speak to both a technical and a non-technical audience.

Finally, candidates must have strong organizational skills, along with an ability to work independently while at the same time being confident in working closely with users based in offices around the world. Occasional international travel will be required.

Interviews will be conducted during the week of January 27, 2014.
