Freelance Marketing Manager
USA Network seeks a Freelance Strategic Marketing Manager. The manager is primarily responsible for all stages of the development and execution of revenue-generating, multi-platform (TV, Digital, Social) integrated marketing opportunities for potential and existing clients in support of USA Network’s sales goals during the Upfront. The Manager will work closely with TV & Digital Ad Sales, Client Solutions, USA Digital, Brand Marketing, Research, On-Air Marketing, and Production departments to ensure all opportunities maximize client investment, minimize production costs and meet both advertisers and USA brand objectives. Job Responsibilities: • Develop and execute multi-platform marketing opportunities that meet client objectives and fit the USA Network brand positioning while demonstrating our commitment to being the most welcoming and collaborative marketing partner in media • Interface with internal departments to secure requisite input/approvals for marketing opportunities and to develop creative sales solutions that meet both the client and USA’s brand criteria • Interface with Sales Research to secure on-going IAG, Neilsen, ComScore, Omniture, and demographic research relevant for use in developing presentation materials. • Work both independently and with team to develop concepts and written proposals in PPT outlining multi-platform marketing opportunities and production costs approved by respective departments • Attend select client meetings, brand downloads, media days and participate through needs analysis, brainstorming, presentation and provide meeting notes/recap to attendees • Support team in execution of marketing programs through creative brief creation, status reports, client-delivery and timeline managementRequired Skill Set: • Bachelors Degree • Minimum of 5 years’ experience at a television network, ad agency or a large promotional firm with Digital as an integral part of the role • Experience in Marketing and project management working with Ad Sales and advertising clients • Strong understanding and working knowledge of new technologies and new media trends such as smartphones, tablets, mobile apps, interactive television, streaming media boxes, connected TVs, and more… • Strategic/Integrated Marketing orientation with the ability to problem-solve on all platforms (TV, Digital, Mobile, Social) • Ability to translate advertiser objectives into programmable elements from concept to execution • Excellent creative/marketing writing skills • Excellent presentation skills for both external & internal presentations • Results-oriented, self-motivated worker with a track record of delivering on commitments • Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, ExcelPlease include resume in email.
