Job Description

We are currently seeking an Integrated Sales Manager who is a charismatic, strategic thinker with a passion for digital publishing. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned online sales professional who will bring their valuable experience in the digital advertising industry to an integrated team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Work closely with the Midwest Integrated Sales Director to strategically grow print & digital advertising revenue from the territory
• Manage all aspects of selling, relationship development, and brand awareness for Chicago-based advertising business
• Inform our ongoing business strategy development through deep knowledge & understanding of the market, categories, advertising clients, and trends with an emphasis on the digital landscape
• Cultivate strong relationships through a consultative process involving on-site meetings and presentations to client and agency decision makers at all levels
• Work closely with marketing and events teams to develop and pitch customized, solutions-oriented advertising programs that accurately represent The Atlantic brand while delivering on client business objectives
• Serve as a representative of The Atlantic brand within the advertising community in a positive, convincing and enthusiastic manner

Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate

• Extensive knowledge of digital media
• A track record building strong relationships, growing revenue, and
meeting sales goals
• Strong connections to agencies and clients as well as the ability to
leverage these
• Excellent communication skills and superior customer-service oriented
skills
• Very strong organizational, issue resolution and decision making skills
• Willingness to travel
• 3-4 years of sales experience
