Digital Strategy Manager
POSITIONThe Digital Strategy Manager will be a key member of the busy strategy department. This role will be responsible for the strategy formation and proposal crafting including new business as well as campaign strategy for existing clients. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, has a clear grasp of the digital marketing space including social media, creative, content, publicity and promotions, and is able to have a holistic view of the various disciplines. Must be a creative thinker who thrives on ideation and concepting. A passion for film and television marketing is key. You'll be working with multiple departments within the company as well as interfacing with clients and prospective clients. All of this will require not only a creative and strategic mind, but one that is able organize, process, and repackage ideas proposed in brainstorms in a client-friendly manner. You'll need to have a personality that helps to bring out the best ideas in brainstorms, and be comfortable presenting and articulating such both internally and externally. We are a young, established firm that has experienced a lot of growth: if you thrive here you'll be very much in the middle of our ongoing efforts to grow our business and keep up with an ever-evolving industry.REQUIREMENTS•Prior interactive/digital media agency experience, with a strong grasp of the current state of the industry and upcoming technologies and advancements•3+ years of relevant experience, in a role that involves strategy or new business•Expertise in select or multiple digital disciplines; these include social media, digital publicity, creative and paid media. Having had exposure to all these areas is a huge plus•Experience working with entertainment clients preferred. Must have a strong affinity for film and television consumption. A creative thinker who loves ideation. •Solid track record of successful project delivery from start to completion•Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in high-pressure situations•Solid communication skills a must, in both writing and presenting. Must demonstrate superior writing skills and consistently deliver content that is timely, creative, engaging, informative, and effective at clearly conveying a message and achieving a desired effect•Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail•Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects•A good eye for creative is keyRESPONSIBILITIES•Working with the Senior Director of Digital Strategy and multiple Department Heads to assess proposal requests and determine deliverables.•Liaising and coordinating with all departments (social media, digital publicity, creative, and paid media) to brainstorm ideas, angles, and concepts•Crafting and writing proposals and presentations•Presenting recommendations to clients over the phone or in person•Ongoing assessment and evaluation of newly emerging platforms in the digital space. Making recommendations and establishing partnerships where applicable, and educating the teams on how such developments can influence our proposals•Seeks the continuous improvement in online/ digital marketing programs; identifies and employs cutting edge strategies.NO RECRUITERS PLEASE!
