Phoenix-based PR firm is looking for a senior account executive to help with our growing client base. Ideal candidate will have minimum five years experience in PR, communications, journalism or related field. Tech industry PR a plus and agency experience is required. The senior account executive will engage in daily media outreach, analyst relations, writing, research, speaker/award submissions, strategy and social media. Some travel and networking is required.

Responsibilities include:

•Build media lists & continually engage with press, bloggers, analysts and other influencers on a national scale
•Monitor editorial calendars & identify great opportunities for our clients to be pitched or contribute thought leadership articles
•Pitch and secure coverage with local, national and trade media
•Write a multitude of PR copy including: press releases, pitches, case studies, bylines, speaker abstracts, award submissions, and blog posts
•Identify speaking opportunities and awards that are a fit for our clients
•Prepare talking points and help prep clients for interviews and speaking engagements
•Tradeshow planning and support
•Support executive thought-leadership campaigns
•Assist in managing media inquiries, planning press events, monitoring industry and company coverage
•Provide creative strategy and guidance to clients
•Prepare monthly reports
•Monitor social media channels
